From September 5 to 7, 2025, Policy SprintâPolandâs first public policy ideathonâtook place, organized by the Young Think Public Policy Association. The event brought together 50 students from both Polish and international universities who, over three intensive days, worked on solutions across four thematic areas, developing innovative public policy concepts.
The participantsâ work was supported by experts and representatives of the public administration, and their projects were presented before a Jury Board comprising: Katarzyna Bis-PĆaza (Ministry of Digitization), Aleksandra ChudaĆ (Ministry of Justice), MaĆgorzata Bywanis-JodliĆska (National School of Public Administration), and Kamil Rodzik (Chancellery of the Prime Minister).
The winner of Policy Sprint was one of the teams from the Health Committee, consisting of: Weronika Tomiak, MichaĆ Medenski, Igor Tomecki, and Marcin Bartoszewicz. They presented a concept for a "digital twin" of the healthcare systemâan innovative IT tool designed to integrate and analyze epidemiological, operational, and financial data. This solution is intended to simulate the impact of planned changes on the functioning of a dynamically evolving system.
