Young Think Policy Sprint

Date

September 4, 2025

Location

📍 Warsaw, Poland

From September 5 to 7, 2025, Policy Sprint—Poland’s first public policy ideathon—took place, organized by the Young Think Public Policy Association. The event brought together 50 students from both Polish and international universities who, over three intensive days, worked on solutions across four thematic areas, developing innovative public policy concepts.

The participants’ work was supported by experts and representatives of the public administration, and their projects were presented before a Jury Board comprising: Katarzyna Bis-PƂaza (Ministry of Digitization), Aleksandra Chudaƛ (Ministry of Justice), MaƂgorzata Bywanis-JodliƄska (National School of Public Administration), and Kamil Rodzik (Chancellery of the Prime Minister).

The winner of Policy Sprint was one of the teams from the Health Committee, consisting of: Weronika Tomiak, MichaƂ Medenski, Igor Tomecki, and Marcin Bartoszewicz. They presented a concept for a "digital twin" of the healthcare system—an innovative IT tool designed to integrate and analyze epidemiological, operational, and financial data. This solution is intended to simulate the impact of planned changes on the functioning of a dynamically evolving system.
